BALANCE BIKE
Thanks to the IKEA foundation Switzerland I had the opportunity to explore the field of balance bikes for kids. With balance bikes children learn very quickly how to balance on a bicycle. The result of this project has been a concept of a customizable bike inspired by skateboards. Parents can paint the frame of the bike with their kids to give it a personal touch. This playful approach transfers knowledge and makes sure the children are emotionally attached to “their” bike.
